Synopsis of The Day is Dark
When all contact is lost with two Icelanders working in a harsh and sparsely populated area on the northeast coast of Greenland, Thora is hired to investigate.
Is there any connection with the disappearance of a woman from the site some months earlier? And why are the locals so hostile?
Already an international bestseller, this fourth book to feature Thora Gudmundsdottir is chilling, unsettling and compulsively readable.
Synopsis of The Day is Dark taken from Amazon
I liked it quite a lot, it has suspense, murders, a rather overwhelming atmosphere and you don’t know who the bad guy is until the end. Above all, I want to highlight the very good setting and the originality of the location: it’s the first novel I read set in Greenland.
The previous novels starring Thora Gudmundsdottir are translated into Spanish. I don’t know if they’re going to translate this one too.
