Th\u00f3ra Gudmundsd\u00f3ttir<\/a> is hired by the father\u2019s parents to investigate.<\/p>\n

What should she make of the rumours saying that the vessel was cursed?<\/p>\n

Where is Kar\u00edtas, the glamorous wife of the yacht’s former owner?<\/p>\n

And whose is the body that has washed up further along the shore?<\/p>\n

Synopsis of the book, by\u00a0Yrsa Sigur\u00f0ard\u00f3ttir<\/a>,\u00a0taken from Amazon<\/a><\/p>\n

Review<\/h3>\n

Complicated plot. The interest is maintained throughout the novel, but the part where the “dead” narrate the story is too long. In the end, it’s not very clear how the “living” come to know about everything the reader finds out throughout the novel and the “living” can’t know.<\/p>\n

Still, the interest doesn’t decline.<\/p>\n
